API Keys
API Keys
API Keys are codes used to identify and authenticate an application. Let me break it down for you:
If you are sending all of your mail strictly from within our platform, then you have no use for API Keys.
However, if you are connecting another platform to OLC, chances are, it's asked you for an API key.
For instance, when adding Open Letter Connect to your Zapier account, one of the first prompts is for your API key. This key is unique to you and your account, allowing for external systems to seamlessly integrate with your Open Letter Connect account.
Open Letter Connect: Test and Live Mode
In your Open Letter Connect account, you have the flexibility to switch between two modes: Test Mode and Live Mode. Here's why they matter:
Test Mode
Ideal for getting familiar with the platform.
Test out orders and generate PDF proofs without costs.
Import lists and check third-party integration connections for free.
Live Mode
Requires adding a payment method to your account.
You'll be charged for orders executed using Live or Live API keys.
Switch according to your needs to efficiently manage your projects.
