What Are Sender Fields?

The Sender Fields in the Template Builder define the “From” information that appears on your mailed pieces. This includes the sender's first & last name, address, company, phone number, email address, and return address shown on postcards, letters, and envelopes.

👉 Simply put, this is your information as the sender that recipients see when they receive your mail.

How OLC Gets Your Sender Information

OLC pulls the data used in the Sender Fields directly from your Sender Profiles.

You can think of a Sender Profile as your:

🗂️ Return Information Storage — the place where your sender details live.

Whenever you place an order, OLC looks at the selected Sender Profile and merges that information into the Sender Fields on your mail piece.

⚠️ Important Note

If you select “No Return Address” when placing an order:

  • The Sender Fields will appear empty in your proof

No sender name or return address will be merged onto the mail piece
