Do letters get damaged too?

Letters move through the same USPS network as postcards. The difference is that the envelope protects the printed insert, so cosmetic wear is usually limited to the outside of the envelope. Still, every mailpiece passes through automated machines, so light marks or barcodes can appear on the envelope exterior.

When to contact us

Please reach out if you notice:

  • Systemic damage well beyond light scuffing

  • Tears or gouges that affect readability

  • Consistent barcode spray covering the same critical content across multiple pieces

If you see these issues, share photos and a few samples. Our team will:

  1. Review print logs and quality checks,

  2. Look into trays and USPS handling notes,

  3. Advise on next steps based on what we find.
